Junior high wrestling begins today at 5:30pm in Oneida! It will follow the high school practice and is for all boys AND girls interested in grades 6th through 8th. Practice will conclude at 7:00pm. They need shorts, t shirt, and wrestling shoes are preferred.
Practice Wednesday will be immediately after school from 3:30 to 5:00pm due to the high school home wrestling meet.
Anyone interested in wrestling 1st - 8th grade wanting to learn more about wrestling there will be another clinic before Meet the Cougars night tomorrow starting at 5:00pm - 6:00pm in the cafeteria in Oneida. Kids will then be allowed to sit and watch the Meet the Cougars night following. Middle school wrestling 6th through 8th grade boys and girls starts November 27th at 5:30 in Oneida. Any questions see Coach Carpenter.
Anyone with children younger than 6th grade who would like to participate in wrestling this year--there is a FREE youth club starting up in Galesburg on Wednesday, November 15th at 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the old Gale School behind Galesburg High School.

The Cougars varsity team moved up to 6-1 on the season with a 45-16 victory over Rushville Industry on Friday night. They will take on the 6-1 Annawan/Wethersfield Titans Friday night in Oneida. Hope to see you there!
